This is my first blog post ever...
We have been in Hong Kong since Feb 2 and each day I like it more. The city is very diverse. While my initial impression of the city was that the city was a dirty, over-congested Asian dump... I have learned that a complete change of scene is only a short subway or bus trip away.
We have explored the crazy shopping centers of Causeway Bay and Temple Street, the mountainous vistas that surround the Po Lin Monastery on the beautiful Lantau Island, and the Southern California-esque Repulse Bay and Stanley Market...
Tonight we are going to the Pub district "Lan Kwai Fong" and tomorrow we are going to hit the giant floating restaurant "Jumbo" and watch a marathon.
